The Frensi was launched at the 2025 RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show. The Frensi 7 will be launched at the 2026 show in February.

The approved spar manufacturers for the UK are Rotor-Rig and Allen Brothers.
The approved sailmaker for the UK is Morgan Sails.

The price for the complete Frensi rig is £1149.
Collection from Aldershot is free, or delivery via courier at £65.

We can bring new rigs to sailing clubs hosting a Frensi Taster Session or other event we are travelling to.

The Frensi rig package includes:

• Lower boom (3.5m - same for both Frensi and Frensi 7)

• Upper boom (3.5m Frensi, 4.2m Frensi 7)

• Halyard mount (a Frensi top mast) either:

  • Short halyard mount (0.9m for Frensi with ILCA 7/std lower mast)

  • Long halyard mount (1.5m for Frensi 7, or Frensi with ILCA 6/Radial lower mast)

• Rigging pack (8mx5mm main halyard, kicker/vang, other control lines, shackles etc)

• Sail (a Frensi sail in the colour scheme below, or a Frensi 7 sail which is white with black edging)

You will need: Laser or ILCA dinghy, a Laser standard/ILCA 7 lower mast (Frensi and Frensi 7) or a Radial/ILCA 6 lower mast (Frensi only), a mainsheet, the usual Laser daggerboard and rudder/tiller.

You do not need: Laser boom, Laser top mast.
